Soft wings!!!!!

Well he did it!  Praise God!  Newbie completed his final flight of flight school yesterday!  The tradition is to hose them down when they finish, and Laura and I were there for the festivities!  It was such an exciting day!  I saw him fly overhead in the best formation I’ve ever seen!  It was better than the Blue Angels!  I am sooo proud of him, and thankful to God for bringing him this far!  After they get hosed down, they ripped off his old patch and they place a patch with wings on it in it’s place.  This wing patch, the “soft wings” will be replaced next week after the ceremony.  So that’s what the patch is all about!

Here is Noelle’s first time eating rice cereal mixed with formula!  She wore more than she ate though!  But she enjoyed it, and we enjoyed laughing at the whole situation!

Congratulations…..

I would like to say “CONGRATULATIONS”  to my wonderful husband!  Newbie is now Carrier Qualified!   This weekend he went to Jacksonville, FL where they flew out to the ship the USS George Bush, which was in the Atlantic Ocean. They would fly and land on the ship….over and over  and over again.  Landing a FAST jet on a TINY boat in a Big ocean…….WOW!  I am soooo proud of him!!!  This brings him one step closer to earning his Wings of Gold!  I thank God for all the blessings in our life.

Oops….

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post!  My computer broke down for a bit, and then I went out of town to Pensacola, and I actually forgot my username and password to get into my account here!  Ha! 

Anyway, I’ll catch you up on the past month…..We went to Pensacola for my step-brother’s wedding.  Later that week, Papa Bill (Newbie’s Dad), and his girlfriend Maryann came to visit for about 4 days!  During that time, my Mom and Mike came up on Saturday, and then on Sunday, my Papa, Uncle Rick and Robert, Dad, and Judy all came to visit!  So we had a very busy time. 

Laura has learned to roll all the way over from front to back and also from back to front!  Right now I have some rice cereal to put into her formula sitting in my pantry.  I’m waiting for Newbie to be home to feed that to her for the first time.  Anyway, here is her 5 month picture, taken each month with Mr. Reese’s!  Enjoy!
